Duration of Stay

  • Up to 60 days (extendable)
  • Up to 180 days (not extendable)

Time required for processing

  • Express processing takes up to 14 business days.
  • Priority processing takes up to 5 business days.

This visa grants you the ability to

  • C1 – Tourism visa: Engaging in tourism-related activities and paying visits to loved ones.
  • C2 – Business visa: Conduct business-related tasks, such as attending meetings or making purchases of commodities.
  • C3 – Medical visa : Engaging in medical treatment-related activities.
  • C4 – Government Business visa: Conducting activities related to Government Business.
  • C5 – Journalist visa: Engage in actions pertaining to reporting news in Indonesia.
  • C6 – Social activities visa: Engaging in social program initiatives in Indonesia.
  • C6A –  Humanitarian aid visa: Engaging in endeavors pertaining to humanitarian aid.

Required Documents

  • Passport that is valid for at least 6 (six) months.
  • A recent color photograph.
  • Personal bank statement with minimum amount USD $2000 (stay up to 60 days) or USD $5000 (stay up to 180 days) or equivalent for the last 3 months period (including name, date of period, and balance account).

  • Medical visa : 
    1. Proof of guarantee from the guarantor
    2. Statement from government agency/private institution, or statement from the applicant which explains that the foreigner will conduct medical treatment in the Indonesian Territory

      • Government Business visa:
        1. Proof of guarantee from the guarantor
    3. Invitations or statements from government agencies
      • Journalist visa : 
        1. Proof of guarantee from the guarantor
        2. Invitations or information from government institutions/interview transcript that has been approved by the resource person/a statement from the Indonesian embassy regarding news coverage plans in Indonesia, including a press ID.
      • Social visa : 
        1. Proof of guarantee from the guarantor
        2. Statement from a government agency or private institution that explains the details of the activities and trips of the Foreigner during the stay in Indonesia

      •  Humanitarian aid visa : 
        1. Proof of guarantee from the guarantor
        2. Statement from a government agency or private institution that explains the details of the activities and trips of the Foreigner during the stay in Indonesia

      • Voluntary visa : 
        1. Proof of guarantee from the guarantor.
        2. Statement from a government agency or private institution that explains the details of the activities and trips of the Foreigner during the stay in Indonesia

      • Art and Cultural Performance visa :
        1. Guarantee letter from the event organizer.
      • Music Performance visa :
        1. Guarantee letter from the event organizer.
        2. invitation letter from the event organizer (for participants in general arts and cultural activities); or Visa application from the impresario and the performer’s cooperation contract with the event organizer (for musicians or supporting acts)
      • Supporting Music Performance visa :
        1. Guarantee letter from the event organizer
        2. invitation letter from the event organizer (for participants in general arts and cultural activities); or Visa application from the impresario and the performer’s cooperation contract with the event organizer (for musicians or supporting acts)

      • Sport Activities visa :
        1. Guarantee letter from the event organizer

Visa Validity

  • This visa must be used within 90 days from the date of issue.
  • Please note that the visa validity period is different from the period of stay, kindly check your visa for the period of stay Information

Other information

  • You can extend this visa or convert it into another visa or stay permit.
  • You are prohibited from staying in Indonesia after your stay permit expires.
  • You are prohibited from carrying out any profit-making activities in any form.
  • You are prohibited from attending events as a speaker.
  • Performing prohibited activities, not complying with the terms of your visa, and/or not complying with the laws of Indonesia may result in you paying fines, being deported, and/or other legal charges.
